[:de]Das einzige, was sich bisher getan hatte war, dass sich die Nachbeben beruhigt hatten. HATTEN!!!! (bis heute) Erst heute rumpelte es wieder (19.11.2015) 5,1 und 4,0 auf der Richterskala. DAS nur nebenbei. Abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass die nepalesische Regierung schon vorher Schwierigkeiten hatte eine Regierung für das Volk zu sein, sieht es jetzt noch schlechter aus. Die Verfassung ist verabschiedet (während massig Hilfsgüter - noch immer - auf Verteilung warten) und da es diesem Volk gerade sowieso nicht gut geht, hat Indien beschlossen weder Waren nach Nepal zu liefern, noch irgendwelche Versorgung durchkommen zu lassen. D. h. im Moment KEINE Medikamente mehr, kein Gas zum Kochen, kein Benzin für den Transport... und Elektrizität hatten sie eh fast nie! Weiß der Himmel was der tatsächliche Hintergrund für diese Handelsblockade von Indien ist. Tatsache ist, dem "normalen" Nepalesen geht es einfach NOCH ein bisschen schlechter. Sie gehörten sowieso schon zu den 20 ärmsten Ländern der Welt ob sie ganz zum Schlusslicht werden? Na ja., es gibt sicher noch welche, mit denen sie diesen "Platz" in der Rangfolge AUCH noch teilen müssen.
Im Moment ist vorallem eines notwendig. Die Menschen in Nepal dürfen nicht vergessen werden. NOCH haben sie sich nicht auf dem Landweg nach Europa in Bewegung gesetzt. Sie lieben ihr Land, aber DAS alleine genügt nicht zum Überleben.[:en]We have founded our non - profit organisation after I had decided that something needed to be started. After all my trips to Nepal where I got to know so many people not only being a tourist but also a listener to their life stories I was left with the feeling .. do what you can do.

Then the earth quake in April got US started. Lots of people who usually don't deal with Nepal had luckily already helped then and for us it meant. It is about time to deal with the "afterlife" once the big donation wave has stopped.

Money rules - even in Nepal. The country used to be 20th on the poorest- country-scale before the earthquake. Being left with a government which has not really had any experience in governing anything yet and which already seems to be slightly overwhelmed by the regular duties of leading a country - let's say the earth quake has not necessarily made them more competent.

The tiniest bit of the money and goods have arrived where they were supposed to go to. - The huge bit noone really knows the whereabouts. Lots of places would not have been able to start rebuilding if they hadn't had some kind of private connections (up until 2017) . I guess that's politics. I don't want to deal with it.

THE good news are that the earth stopped shaking this frequently. Nepal will always have earthquakes.

Additionally India decided to block the main access roads to Nepal. All goods that are desperately needed are not being transported into the country. Most "normal" person have little access to cooking gas for their rice and lentles (I bet it is really crappy to only suck rice and lentles until they are soft), petrol only available on the black market (REALLY expensive - even for Germans). With these facts adding to the situation I guess Nepal might actually reach the rear end of the poorest country scale quicker than any other.[:]
